And with Go Roam Around the World Extra, you can explore while accessing your plan’s data, minutes, and texts with our inclusive daily roaming passes.*

No inclusive passes? No problem. When visiting a Go Roam Around the World Extra destination, you can unlock your plan’s data, minutes, and texts for £7 for 24hrs* or buy a 3, 7, or 14 day Go Roam Around the World Extra Pass before you travel for even better savings. You can check the rates for any roaming destination before you travel on our Roaming Support page. And if it’s time to renew your plan, why not take advantage of our Value and Complete plans which are bundled with up to 56 days of inclusive Roaming passes, as well as other perks such as Paramount+, extended warranty, free screen repairs and more!

Do Three Pay As You Go customer get the extra countries included, or do they need further bolt on’s?

Hi @Dj9sz,

Go Roam Around the World Extra applies to Pay Monthly plans for customers who have joined, or renewed after 1 October 2021, but the links in the above article will take you to all the relevant info for PAYG. On the Roaming Support page you can select that you're on PAYG when checking a destination, and the Three Blog page has loads of helpful advice for both PAYG and Pay Monthly customers.

@JonathanB If a Three customer is in a GRATWE destination and has used all 12gb of their allowance, is there any option to purchase further data, other than go on to the 1p per mb option ?

Hi @Anonymous,

Currently Data Passport is the only add on which bypasses the fair usage limits for roaming. We're sure the new destinations and pass add ons will make it much more cost effective to use your phone like at home than the previous roaming rates though.

I don’t understand, I am going to Montenegro so do I need to buy something extra or is it included now as it would be if I went to Greece for instance ?

Greece is £2 per day.

Montenegro is £7 per day.

Can I use my pay monthly allowance whilst abroad (Croatia from uk contract) or do I have to buy an extra package to allow this?

It should just happen automatically. Just make sure that your spend cap isn't set to zero, and check that your credit limit isn't set to £1.

Hi there, as an older 3 customer pre 2021 that automatic go roam, do we automatically get the extra countries to make up the 160 or is this purely for just newer 3 customers.

Travelling to Canada where we've not been able to use our allowance previously.

Hi @Andy4284,

You need to have renewed since the 1st October 2021 to be able to access Go Roam Around the World Extra, otherwise you'll still be paying per minute, text, and MB in the new destinations.

However, it's worth checking out our Three Your Way plans as an upgrade option. Value and Complete plans include roaming passes which can be used in all Go Roam destinations.

Hi,

I joined after October 2021 but I can not see any details of inclusive daily passes in my plan details. Is there a way I can confirm if I have access to this so I know if I need to purchase day passes when I go away next month?

Are you perhaps on a Lite Plan?

If so these don't have any inclusive daily passes.

If you have re-contracted during that time, yes.

If not, then I wouldn't think so.

Maybe double-check with Customer Services?

That's right, for any plan that was renewed on or after the 1st October 2021.
