Scam call regarding Black Friday

Hi there,

I got a phone call from: 070 **** ****

it was regarding a Black Friday offer that I’d been preselected for 40% off my current deal. They seemed to have all my details that three would have. I was wondering if this was genuine? It caught me off guard. And they said to wait for another call from another department later.

Sorry to hear you've been receiving these scam calls. We don't use numbers beginning 070, these are actually a type of premium rate number so the scammers may have been hoping that you call the number back. More info on scams, fraud and how to report these on our Fraud to watch out for page.
