Cafe Nero code didn’t work

I tried to use the £1 coffee at Nero this morning and the QR loaded but everytime I scanned it the price stayed the same. Tried it about 10 times. The man on the till said to refresh it which I did but it still wasn’t working, ended up having to pay full price. QR is in my codes and looks right but it wasn’t working. Anyone else had this issue?

Admittedly others too see this issue as important in their lives!
