&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure if I follow the question. It should only be the account holder who has a Direct Debit on an account. A 3rd party can make a card payment on your behalf, but they'd need to at least know the phone number, and it makes the conversation more complicated if you're not present as staff won't really be able to confirm they're loaded into the correct account, or what the balance is.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The simplest solution is for you to call with the other person present, you can pass security then authorise for the team to speak to the other person involved.&lt;/P&gt;
