Is this a scam?

I had a call from 07********* claiming to be from Three promotion and billing team - offering 30% discount on my contract/bill. When I said I'd call back they gave me this number to call: 02*********. Are these genuine Three numbers or is this a scam?

They are absolutely not from Three! All calls from Three start with 03 so this is at best dubious and at worst a scam. I would personally block and report the numbers.

Hi @Encee21,

@Paddiewack is spot on here. We have to blank out the phone numbers as they could be personal lines which are being "spoofed" i.e. scammers impersonating UK numbers, but it's definitely not us if the number begins 01, 02, or 07.
