Is it a contract sim or PAYG? If it is PAYG when did you last use it?

I have had my 3 sim for about 10 years. I now can’t get into my account, all I wanted was to find out how much credit I had left and wether it required a top up. I have changed the password but I’m being told that doesn’t match with the mobile number. I have spoke to chatline and they can’t help because I can’t remember how much credit I put on last time (don’t use it often). They asked for the number off the SIM card which I gave but I am then told it wasn’t an E SIM card number. Looks as though I may be changing network. Anyone any suggestions?

Have you used the phone within the last 180 days? If the answer is no then it's very possible that the SIM has been disconnected and the number placed in quarantine prior to reissue as is pretty standard for PAYG in the UK.
