&lt;P&gt;Sorry to hear that you've been targeted by a scammer, but glad to hear you figured out something was amiss. We aren't proactively replacing customer SIMs like they're describing. Here's a link to our &lt;A href="https://www.three.co.uk/privacy-safety/fraud-to-watch-out-for" target="_self"&gt;fraud to watch out for page&lt;/A&gt; with more info about scams and how to report them.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Caller IDs can be faked, so I suspect that the "from three" message would be faked in a similar manner.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>SCAM CALL to upgrade sim!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just had a call claiming to be from Three that they are sending out replacement sims. He said my phone number will be turned off, to prove he was from Three he sent a text message “From Three” that came in the “From Three” text message box. He started to ask me for personal details, I hung up! I checked on my account and there’s no mention of this. I think this must be scam?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
