    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I'm due to upgrade on 13th July. Can you tell me if you get credit checked for an upgrade.       <description>&lt;P&gt;If I remember from previous posts an upgrade requires a new contract and all new contracts require a credit check. No idea if you can appeal but I would not be surprised if they asked for an upfront payment.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, Dale.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you're upgrading to any handset or device contract, you'd need to go through a credit check. If you're upgrading from a SIM only plan to another SIM only plan, you shouldn't need to go through a check.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can appeal a credit decision if you feel the decision was incorrect.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;They'll tell you you can appeal it but in reality they just click the same button the first guy clicked, they don't really look at it again, at least in my experience.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
