Most on-line services now employ 2FA (2 factor authorisation) which means its imperative to ensure PAYG service does not get cancelled due to forgetting the 180 day rule. Does 3mobile send users a SMS notification that their PAYG service is about to come to an end? If not, is it beyond the realms of possibility to provide that, to avoid being locked out of all 2FA services?

I’ve had a quick (but not exhaustive) look at the Ts and Cs and it doesn’t mention (that I can see) any notification being sent to customer of payg service being disconnected after 180 days of non use. I personally think however that you go into a payg agreement knowing the score and it’s not hard within a six month period to top up/send a text/make a call or whatever. And remember even if you top up only once you can still receive two factor authentication codes for five months. Perhaps make a mental or written note to self.
