I’m just after receiving a new device from an upgrade. I want to change my number with a new sim for my new device however I still need to be able to receive texts with the old sim on the old device. Is this possible? Help would be appreciated

It's not completely clear what you mean by changing your number with a new SIM. Are you talking about multiple contracts or just 1 contract?

Not multiple contracts. I want to change my number with my current plan but by receiving a new sim and not using current one but also whilst still being able to receive texts on old sim

It wouldn't be possible to do that. Once you arrange for the number to be moved onto the new one, the old one wouldn't get service any more.
