Hello, AndyK.

How long was the SIM in there for prior to your finding the phone? On Pay as You Go, if it was sitting unused for 6months or more, it would have been automatically cancelled. If it's a contract SIM, it would remain connected to the network until a cancellation was requested by the account holder.

If the SIM is not connecting to the network, it would indicate that it's been cancelled, either by the PAYG automated process, or by the account holder. If it's connecting to the network, we'd recommend letting the Support Team know you've found it, and they can update the account.

Have done a factory reset on an old phone I found in a drawer in our house, there's a 3 SIM in it but the number doesn't come up as any of my contacts, wondering how I can find out who's paying the bill for this number if anyone, whether it's monthly or PAYG etc?
