    <description>&lt;P&gt;Having the same issue today is 90 days I can't upgrade after being told I can with no credit check, today it's a different story I can't upgrade I try to but had to do a credit check which I fail, this was not the deal I live up to my side of the bargain but three have not&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Took a 3 SIM only contract out on the basis that I could upgrade to a phone contract after 90 days.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I am told it's a year&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone able to clarify this please&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It is possible to do an upgrade on a SIM only contract after it has passed 90 days.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you're in a 12 month or 24 months SIM contract, the system won't let you upgrade online, it will need to be done with the team on chat or on on the phone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'd generally avoid taking SIM cards purely on the basis of getting an upgrade onto a phone. While it's possible to do it, it's not guaranteed as a credit check will need to be completed as well.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;They said the same to me and after the 3 months I tried to get a contract phone and was told no it’s a joke really only reason I got the sim because I was told I could get a much needed phone upgrade now I’m stuck with a sim and a phone that is on the verge of breaking if they was honest with me when getting the sim I just wouldn’t of got it tbh&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Don't know what going on with three, I was told after 90 days I could upgrade for a hand set, today is 90 days, I try to upgrade but had to do a credit check which it declined, 3 months ago I applied for a contract phone with three unfortunately it declined, I had a call the next day from three telling me about they sim for 90 days as I fail for a handset, I made sure to ask if I would have to do a credit check after the 90 days, I was told no as pass for the sim after 90 I can pick any phone of choice again with no credit check it would just an upgrade for the handset, I even call last week to make of this, now it's a different story and can't receive the handset because of credit check which should not be, all of they calls are recorded and now have to wait 5 days for them to get back to me, at this point I seem to be trick into getting this sim,my son is with o2 and did the same exact thing and have received his handset with no credit check, now I go on the app it's telling me today I can't upgrade&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It's disappointing to hear the right advice wasn't shared with you. Sadly, a credit check is required when entering into any finance agreement for a device. The network would be going against FCA rules if it did not perform a credit check prior to allowing the agreement to go through.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There's no way to work round that, sadly. You can appeal a decision after the credit check if it doesn't go in your favour and you feel it was fair, alternatively, you can wait a while and try again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’ve had the exact same thing, I put an order in for a iPhone, got turned down, was contacted the day after and offered a sim only on the promise I could choose any phone after 3 months, I confirmed on the phone twice that my credit would not be a problem after the 90 days and was assured it was not. I have now placed a complaint, I’m gathering info on others this has happened to and will be taking it to the ombudsman as it is a breach of consumer rights. They are completely exploiting people with bad credit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same thing I asked and I got two contract sims on the basis that after three months I was able to get the phone on an upgrade no matter what my credit was as long as i paid bill im 2 pound in credit for over paying and refused&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I received a call 2 months back promising me a contract phone after 3 months if I get another sim..I have always paid my bills on time..If 3 don't live up to what they promised me, I will leave all together..This is mis selling..I'm seeing plenty of people complaining about this.. watchdog will be very interested I'm sure of this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
