Scam call

Is this a Scam Caller?

Claiming to be from Three offering a discount. Said they had all my details.. but they needed me to confirm.. I asked them to give me my details.. they said they couldn't for security purposes and the call was recorded.. I said that's good it's recorded.. and If they couldn't confirm my details then I can't give them anything further. Also if they had my details then they should know what my name was.

This is the number. 02*********.. they even sent me a verification code they wanted me to tap in my keypad.

Ps the call then turned to a new offer for a new phone for £40 a month!

Anyone else had anything similar?

Based on the number provided, we can confirm it's not a legitimate Three-caller. I'm glad to hear you didn't provide the caller with any details.

I'd recommend blocking the number and forwarding it to us, by texting the word 'CALL' followed by the number to 7726, free of charge.
