No, the Three Network Technicians have been fobbing me off with non-sense for weeks now. In the past disabling IPv6 seemed to have fixed it, when I asked to disable IPV6, the lady I spoke to switched me to IP 4GHz and asked me to reset my Wifi box. I don't think they get any training or understand what they are even doing.

My work uses a service to remote into the work PCs. I've been having issues with them gaining connection to my home PC, and it seems like any incoming connection to my 5G Outdoor Hub is getting blocked, resulting in me not being able to connect to the work PC.

Does anyone have a solution to this. Honestly appalling that Three is blocking all connection made to the router.

@PeteG I've seen you around the forums, maybe you know something about this?

Sounds like the problems I am seeing. I use the 3internet APN to get a public routable IP address. However, recently this has stopped working and my connections are going via Carrier Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT). This prevents incoming connections (from the internet to the router) as CGNAT is basically a firewall. I can't log into my online banking either because the IP address I'm connecting with keeps changing a couple of times a minute!

If you need a solid connection, try using Cloudflare WRAP. It has worked for me but I hate the fact that I need software to have a stable connection and it doesn't solve the issues on my other devices.

The 3internet APN seems to be giving me a public IP but it doesn't matter since the router is blocking every incoming connection. I've seen posts about the router firmware failing to properly disable the firewall even if set to IP Passthrough, and others about it locking down the APN and not allowing it to be changed.

Impressive how ignorant Three has been 🙂
