Hello there.

Some of the things worth doing would be testing the placement of the router in different areas of the house in order to optimise reception. Placing the router on upper floors can help, and near windows is best. It's also a good idea to ensure it's not near things like fish tanks, or large metal objects like radiators.

These measures can help to ensure you have a strong enough 5G signal on the Hub that it doesn't need to fall back to 4G.

My place could receive both 4G and 5G networks. The download speed of 5G is fine (2xx mb/s), but when the signal will swith to 4G/4G+, the download speed drops to zero. I have tried to switch the APN, and the results are the same. What I understand the signal only affects the download speed, but it should not be completely disconnected. Please advise on anything that I could do to improve the situation. It is unacceptable for video conferencing and streaming.

p.s. I am using Smarty on my phone, which is the same network as 3, and I can receive a 5G signal all day. I wonder why is different when I pay more for a 3UK mobile wifi with a worse experience.
