Yeah for a few months have been paying a subscription to weezchat with no knowledge of it happening till I received the charge on my 3three bill. Nobody using the wifi had used it or even heard of it.

When confronting 3Three they just say they cannot issue a refund since weezchat took the money but they do it through 3three if it was directly to my bank then I would understand but when it comes to my 3three bill its a different story.

3three Just tells me to contact weezchat but seeing other reviews about this issue tells me to just avoide the headache and call my bank and get it through them, ask 3three to block weezchat and fuzeforge from trying to add subscription or charge me so it hopefully doesn't happen again. Honestly what a joke.

Three Running Scam with Fuzeforge and Weezchat

What a fall from grace for a company that used to provide good service to its customers. Nowdays, it runs a scam with third party apps like fuzeforge and Weezchat to scam its customers out of money. Unethical practices can't keep revenue coming from long. Continue running scams and soon you will go bust anyway. Below are the details of this scam

"Three FuzeForge" refers to unexpected charges from the third-party gaming company Fuze Forge that appear on a Three UK mobile or broadband bill
. Many Three customers have reported being charged for a Fuze Forge subscription they never authorized.

About the charges

How it happens: Fuze Forge uses a "3 Pay" direct carrier billing service that allows third parties to add charges to a customer's phone bill. Although the transaction requires a multi-step confirmation process, many customers report being charged without ever opting into the service.

What it is: Fuze Forge is a gaming subscription service operated by the company Digital Global Pass (DGP). It offers access to a catalog of PC and mobile games.

Three's response: Three UK states that these are legitimate third-party charges and that it only acts as the billing tool, so it is the customer's responsibility to contact Fuze Forge for a refund. However, customers have reported difficulty getting in touch with Fuze Forge to resolve the issue.

What to do if you've been charged

Contact Fuze Forge directly. You will need to reach out to Fuze Forge to dispute the charges and request a refund.

Contact number: 0333 313 8756.

Contact Three to block third-party charges. To prevent further unwanted subscriptions, contact Three customer support and ask them to add a "charge-to-bill" block to your account.

Cancel the direct debit. Some customers have canceled their direct debit with Three to force a resolution, but this may lead to collections action.

Lodge a complaint. If you are still unsatisfied, you can lodge a formal complaint with Three. The company that runs Fuze Forge is also regulated by the Phone-paid Services Authority (PSA), and you can report the issue to them for further advice.

I've experienced this recently too. Apparently someone connected to my broadband subscribed to a Third party called "Weezchat". As the subscription was made via my broadbands number it would've been impossible for someone connected to take the steps needed to sign up for this subscription, which consist of receiving a text code, as in order to retrieve it they would've needed to login to my 3 account, and I know I definitely didn't do that either. This subscription was definitely activated Three, without any input from me or anyone else using my broadband.

I've experienced nothing but problems since signing up with Three, and as soon as I find another provider will be promptly leaving.

Same thing happened to me today. I am contacting three to add a spend cap but they are not allowing it. They are saying that broadband users cannot have a spend cap. So it is a loop.
