If there is not enough capacity available on a tower then broadband will not be available. This is to try and prevent slow speeds. Just because 5g is available for phones does not automatically mean home broadband will be available.

It sounds like your local tower is now fully, or oversubscribed and if this is the case then home broadband is unlikely to be available until capacity is increased.

Upon checking the website on areas that used to have 5G broadband, now it says that

--------------------

We can't offer Home Broadband at your address right now, but we're busy expanding our network to connect more homes.

Check out our Mobile Broadband plans, or try a different address.

--------------------

Not even 4G is offered. This is odd as these areas used to have 5G broadband covered. While another address that has only 4G broadband is still being offered. A lot of bugs from this Three network and website
