Hi All

I have a NR5103E which I got in January which is just being replaced because after 3 told me to pin reset it I could no longer log in to it.

Anyway I have over 40 smart bulbs and about 6 other wireless devices that I need to connect, above it says that the hub can connect up to 64 devices, but when I was able to log in it said 32 devices and I was not able to change it.

I was thinking could connect my TP-Link Archer AX50 AX3000 router and TP-Link N300 wireless ceiling mount access point to the NR5103E to connect all devices.

Thanks in advance

P.s

If what am thinking won't work can anyone suggest a way to do what I need

Hey, Denisaok.

I thought I had answered your post last night, but coming across it again today, it doesn't look like my message was posted for some reason.

I'm unsure why the device is limited to 32 wireless connections, my understanding is that it can handle up to 64. You asked about connecting the AX3000 and N300, that's something that would help with any device connection limits. If you connect multiple devices to the N300, it would be the device managing those connections, and the Hub would only count the N300 as a single connection.

I hope that helps.

Pete.

For the Zyxel NR5103E, it's 64 clients total for both 2.4GHz & 5GHz, 32 clients/devices for each band. You will find the actual number of devices that can connect will be far less.

Can the smart bulbs connect to both bands?

You should be able to use the old routers as APs.

Hi All

Can somebody give me the setting to put the NR5103E into passthrough mode, I found the settings in broadband and when enabled it says it connected to the net. I have plugged my tp-link router into the wan port but when I try to access the net I don't have access.
