24gb data sim from argos

hi,

i bought a huawei mifi unit and bought a 3 24gb data sim (it came with a three number on it.

it has run out now so i bought another data sim but it has no three number on it and i cannot link it with the old number as that is on the old sim card.

how do i get this new card to work?

Have you put the new 24gb data sim in the Huawei Mifi unit, it should just work without needing to link it to anything.

Why on earth did’nt you just top up your existing sim?

Hi @craig155,

As @Officina-red says, it should be automatic. If the SIM won't activate in the MiFi, try popping the SIM in a mobile. It should activate as soon as it finds a 3/4/5G signal, and you should then receive a text which confirms what the phone number is, just in case you need this to help manage the account.
