NR5103EV2, anybody any instructions on how to bypass the need for special characters in my wifi password, smarthome setup for years but because of the special character rule, this router is useless to me if it can't be bypassed, cheers.

Hi I have version 1 of this router and have added an old printer with WPS mode so I didnt have to deal with WEP security on the printer.

Even printers with no obvious WPS button may have software access to this.

I dont think it sensible to bypass the router security even if it were possible.

I also had an issue with that but there's no way around it. I had about 12 smart plugs to change and 4 Alexa's so it took ages. Changing the mobile phone was trivial. If that's all you have then just update the WiFi password on the phone. It's very simple. Google it for a youtube video if you're stuck.

I have this problem with some cctv cameras not supporting special chars. It'd a poor design where the normal security setting insists on special chars but pow security allows no password but won't let you set a simple one.

Also looking for an answer.
