Along with Geluk's advice, can you also confirm if the laptop is able to detect other Wireless Networks?

So, I’ve been gifted an older Dell laptop (appx. 5 years old) and have just started with the 3 5G home BB.
I can’t, for the life of me, get the laptop to recognise the ZTE MC888 router. I have perused the ‘net, including this site, and have tried all the usual - both 2.4/5ghz separately, literally been through every wireless channel on both 2.4 and 5ghz, reset the router (even though I know this isn’tt the cause as every other device - iPad/phone, Ring doorbell, PS5, blah blah…connects successfully) et al.

Laptop wise I have reinstalled the network adaptor (device manager, etc) all to no avail.
Can anyone out there offer any further advice?

Many thanks,

Rob.

Try turning off router security [temporarily]- does the laptop then see it in WIFI connections?
