Hello all thank you in advance for any help

I currently have a 4g ZTE MF286D router in our caravan 4g signal can be poor sometimes. It doesn’t have any Ariel’s on it but I have heard about adding an external Ariel? Is this possible and will it make a difference to the 4g signal? Also would anyone recommend some , seen lots on Amazon but rather have some knowledge before I buy

Im competent but little out of my depth with this one , we use the WiFi to control a lot at the van so needs to be reliable as possible.

thank you

Has your router got aerial sockets on the rear?

My HUAWEI has 2, but only 1 socket can actually be used, after configuring s/ware.

It may improve reception, but not if the routers internal aerial is good.
