Hi been with 3 mobile broadband forever now and want to cancel contract and plan to take out a new SIM with unlimited data (via cashback website) maybe with 3 again currently looking for best options. My question is I want to stay connected every day so when I close my current contract with 3 how soon does cancellation take effect? I want to avoid paying for 2 contracts and also any recommendations on 3 mobile WiFi device compatible unlimited Sims at good price

Thanks

Hey, Frankie.

If you're looking to have minimal overlap, you can take a PAC and give that to the new provider. The phone number will transfer over to the new network, and the account with Three will close as part of the process. If you're going to take another plan with Three on a new contract, you will not be able to move your number to the new contract. You should check if the option to upgrade the existing account is available if you plan to do that.

Pete.
