topic ZTE MC888A strange speeds from good to excellent postion and offline in Broadband

So I moved over to 3 about four months ago and have found on average. I can get 250 MB connection speed which was great because on my landline I could only get 68mb

I find it very weird how speeds can change with the slightest movement of the router. On my pixel six pro which is using a 5G three Sim, i get 900 to 950mb connection all around the flat. So can you tell me why this hub gets strange speeds much lower as well as sometimes says no internet?

In the hallway when connected directly to the hub, I would get between 300 and 400 mb with the app telling me "good " position. I then moved the hub to the side of the TV in the front room, which is more towards the glass balcony which I am the second floor and on average now can get anything from 200 to 500mb on a good day.

I then moved this weekend the hub to my bedroom on the windowsill and actually got a excellent position reported. Did it change my speed? Yes for the worst. I was getting around 80 MB sometimes 100mb. why?

Just an update on this I moved it to the other side of the bedroom where I still have excellent and i get 800mb to 900mb ONLY within 12 ft, 25 ft away is 70mb.

Proves like all other routers the signal is not great. I connected the router to a Halo mesh cube and get 300-400 all around the flat.
