I'm recieving texts from my transferred number, but when I check my phone number its not the same

I got a text yesterday saying that my number had transferred but when i go to contacts and check my number its a different number than the one a transferred so i decided to leave it until the morning. I check again and its still the same. However, i just signed in to my 3 using my transferred number and recieved a text to my new sim for my transferred number. So my number has transferred but it doesnt show that number whenni go to contacts. Has anyone had a similar issue and know how to fix it?

Hi @KianShay05,

Did you have a look at the link SC1999 shared? There's a suggestion on that thread that may help. There's a couple of different issues that could be causing this but they can usually be fixed in the phone settings, can you let us know what model of phone you are using?
