Hi below are my settings for APN settings. Can someone advise if they are correct or not. I have a sim only deal in an unlocked Motorola moto e20. Where I've put greyed out, it means setting cannot be altered.

Name 3 uk

APN three.co.uk

Proxy not set

Port not set

Username not set

Password not set

Server not set

MMSC http://most.um.three.co.uk:10021/muscles

MMS proxy 8799

MCC 234

MNC 20

Authentication type not set

APN type supl,default,mms

APN protocol IPv4

APN roaming protocol IPv4

APN enable/disable (greyed out)

Bearer unspecified

MVNO type none

MVNO value (greyed out)

Sorry but MMSC http://most.um.three.co.uk:10021/muscles should be mmsc not muscles and MMS proxy is 217.171.129.2 also MMS port is 8799

Hey @Paulus,

Usually most handsets will pick up the correct settings, and most of the above are correct, although I'm not sure if an auto-correct may have kicked in when you were entering the MMSC?

Here's the fields you may need to enter manually, and the rest look right to me, but don't normally need to be changed from default:

Name: 3
APN: three.co.uk
User name: [leave this field blank]
Password: [leave this field blank]

MMSC: http://mms.um.three.co.uk:10021/mmsc
MMS proxy: 217.171.129.2
MMS port: 8799
APN type: internet + mms

Thank for your reply and suggestions also apologies for late reply, plenty of reasons for being late but no excuses lol. Only now picking up and I've changed manually APN type from supl,default,mms to Internet + mms. I'll see how this change goes and post back here the results.

APN type Internet + mms doesn't work for me, it leaves me with no Internet connection. After reverting back to supl,default,mms I have an Internet connection.

Hi @Paulus,

Sorry for the delay in checking back on this one. Yeah the instructions about "Internet + MMS" were from quite an old version of Android I suspect, it's pretty rare to have to key in APN profiles manually these days.

Thanks for flagging this up, hopefully this'll help other users in the future. Is everything working okay for you in terms of mobile data since you last posted?
