So I’m looking at taking out a plan for an Apple Watch. I don’t think I need a pairing plan as I’m happy to use Bluetooth/Wi-Fi like I have done for years.

is it possible to just take the plan to buy the watch and not take a plan too?

Hello.

Welcome to the Three Community.

There's a couple of ways you can do this. You can buy the watch outright, paying it all at once. Or you can select a the watch on a device plan that's 12, 24, or 36 months and choose to pay whatever amount works best up front. Then in the data plan section, you can opt for a rolling 1 month plan. This means you don't have long term contract for the data plan and can cancel if you decide to stick with the Bluetooth option.

Seems a way for three to get a few quid for nothing, they don't make life simple.
