If you don't want to be able to use data or make and receive calls/texts switch it off.

But leave it on if you do.

Hello there.

If you have no use for it while there, then you can turn off roaming. If you'd like to be able to use your allowances, you'll need to have the roaming on. You can find out more about what you can do while roaming on the Roaming Support page.
