Hi @JonathanB , Thanks for the response. The link that you suggested is very good to configure a VPN on the PC while connected using the Three modem.

What I was interested was to configure the VPN on the Three modem itself as the default Zyxel firmware of the modem supports it. But the Three's customized version of the firmware doesn't give any access to these relevant features. While I purchased this modem and 5g data plan from the Three store, I was assured that I could configure a VPN service on the modem, which was one of the main reason that I took the modem and plan. But I am very disappointed that Three's firmware doesn't allow it. Why is Three blocking the features which the device is already capable of and those that are very useful to the customers? 🙂

Hi, I have a Zytel NR5103E 5g broadband device provided by three. I came to know that this device is capable of configuring a VPN service such as Nord VPN. However I could not find the VPN settings in the router configuration. Is it disabled by three or how can we access it?

We don't actively support the use of VPN services, so I don't have a walkthrough or guide I can link you to, however I'm aware of a number of community members having posted about using VPN services.

<LI-MESSAGE title="FYI : IPv6 Prevented VPN Connection" uid="14851" url="https://community.three.co.uk/t5/Broadband/FYI-IPv6-Prevented-VPN-Connection/m-p/14851#U14851" discussion_style_icon_css="lia-mention-container-editor-message lia-img-icon-forum-thread lia-fa-icon lia-fa-forum lia-fa-thread lia-fa"></LI-MESSAGE> happens to be a really popular topic concerning some settings tweaks for the NR5103E that has helped with connecting to VPNs and some other connectivity issues.

Thanks,
Jonathan
