topic Smartwatch pairing in Devices

Hi, hoping someone can help as I’m tearing my hair out! I signed up with three last week, and got my sim last Thursday, so still within the cooling off period should I need to quit because of potentially being misold a plan. I specifically joined three because of the smartwatch pairing option, which my other provider didn’t do. At the time of signing up over the phone, I got the uk call centre and not the Indian one, (in store told me only 10% get the uk call centre) I asked the staff member on several occasions the following re adding a smartwatch pairing plan

1- Is my new plan of monthly contract 120gb eligible? I was told yes

2- Was my Apple Watch SE that’s both GPS and Cellular compatible ? (red dot on dial so it’s compatible) I was told yes

3- Do I have to sign up to smartwatch pairing add on with him at the point of signing my new contract ie before my new sim arrived two days later, I was told NO, I had to ring up to activate OR go into store

4- Was my new 24 month contract eligible for smartwatch pairing I was told Yes

So my sim arrived, old number transferred, joined, and registered on the three app, and gone to pair my smartwatch on the Apple smartwatch app, and on the section on the Apple Watch app that says “mobile plan” where you set up, I’m constantly getting this message “ Your three account is NOT eligible to enable service on your Apple Watch. Please contact three for more information”

Spent two days on phone to three customer service Indian call centre, all four reps didn’t have an answer as to why this is happening, so went into my local three store today, who spent an hour doing exactly what I had, ie repairing, re install of watch app, re registering on the three app. The three staff member did what exactly what I had have spent doing, and called the customer svs, and again, got the Indian call centre, and spent 45 mins for the advisor to do exactly what I’ve already done. None from Three has solved this. So from last Thursday, I’ve spent hours upon hours onto three, visiting the store etc, and still I can’t pair. I saw on here, someone commented, that they were informed, that you can only go on the smartwatch pairing plan on a 24 mth contract if you buy your smartwatch directly from Three. If that’s the case, I’ve been misinformed by three at the point of signing up, thus , if no one at three can sort this, ie if this is the reason, I’ve been misinformed and sold a plan that I didn’t want even after explaining what I wanted, I’ll walk away, and cancel my contract, as I’m still in the cooling off period. I’m absolutely tearing my hair out and really stressed with this. Three customer svs and shops have no idea why I can’t pair, so I need help please . If it’s a case that the advisor who signed me up, should have done the smartwatch pairing then, rather than what he advised, ie to wait for my sim and then call or go in store, then again, I’ve still been misinformed, and three need to sort their error but no one at three as yet, has . I’m a brand new customer and to say I’m disappointed in the whole experience, is an understatement. Please can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Just one question;are you attempting to pair your Apple Watch to an iPhone? If not you won’t be able to do it. I have an Apple Watch paired to my iPhone and have had zero issues in the past year and a half.
