Ongoing issues with smartwatch pairing for the last day and a half. I’ve seen others with the exact same problem dating back to 2023, why haven’t Three fixed this? When I went into My Watch > Mobile Services I couldn’t click ‘set up mobile services’ because it said my Three plan was not eligible to enable mobile services on Apple Watch; Three online chat got me to erase network settings on my iPhone which then allowed me to click on ‘set up mobile services’ and I was able to select the £7 plan but then it said “activating” for more than 24 hours; went back to Three online chat and they told me to erase settings on my Apple Watch and unpair it then set it up again. I did this and it messed everything and took over an hour to re add it. Now when I go to My Watch > Mobile Services it allows me to click ‘set up mobile services’ again but that gives me an error message saying ‘there’s a problem. Please note you can’t progress to a new subscription as you already have an existing one which is still in progress.’ Back to Three online chat again and they told me to add the plan in the My3 app (there is no option to do this), they then told me to delete the app and reinstall it, I knew this wouldn’t work and told them so but did it anyway and of course it don’t work. I’ve now been on the phone to Three and they’re doing a tech referral which will take up to 7 days. Why is it so difficult to do anything like this with Three? The infrastructure seems so antiquated. I specifically got this watch so I can go out running without my phone, if Three can’t fix this, I trust they will release me from my contract.

You say you’re trying to pair an Apple Watch. What handset are you attempting to pair it to? It must be an iPhone or you won’t be able to do it.
