Morning.

Is there a way of being able to test my three mobile phone line? For example by dialling a code into the handset like 17070 which then in turn reads out my own telephone number

Download Soeedtest and run it. It will give you some basic info such as upload and download speeds, ping (the larger the number the greater lag). You can find your phone number by searching the phone's settings. If you think there is a problem try 3's network status checker or call 333.
