I have read online that the Vodafone and Three merger will be completed in the first half of 2025.

What would happen once the merger is complete? Will it be one company? Will we be able to use each others masts? Will we get merged features like having both visual voicemail (Vodafone only) and RCS messaging (Three only) on iPhone?

I’m currently a Three customer, will we be migrated to Vodafone? That would be good for improved coverage.

The bean counters will be seeking to eliminate duplication, so that masts overlapping will be culled; expect no improvements in coverage therefore. You can be certain charges will escalate; VODAFONE's PAYG rate is a shocking 100p a minute.

This doesn't answer the question. As a Three customer, will the Three network change/will the signal change/will Three customers be able to switch between Vodafone and Three depending on which offers better signal where you are?

Example scenario - where I live the Vodafone signal is awful. Will the merge impact the quality of my signal in any way whatsoever?

We appreciate you're keen for more information on how this will work, but we're limited in what we can share whilst the merger process is still ongoing. For the moment, Three and Vodafone are still two separate companies.

Once the transaction completes, we will be building one of Europe's leading 5G networks. This means faster speeds, wider coverage, and more reliable connections. We expect we'll be able to provide more detail on how this will happen after the legal completion of the merger.

I’m unhappy Vodafone is merging. They are the worst and always have been the worst of all main networks. The most expensive, signal is always atrocious and Vodafone don’t even pay their corporation tax as they still owe billions.

I have numbers on both Vodafone and three. So I’m interested to know when the network merge will happen so both parties can cover for each other.
