&lt;P&gt;Good suggestion, but there's a couple of restrictions on repeated and consecutive numbers, so 0000 won't work here. Likewise for 1234.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Sorry to hear that the system has been giving you trouble with configuring a pin. Our Voicemail system was updated, but it was quite a few months ago as I recall, perhaps you haven't had to use your mailbox to pick up any messages for a while?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As long as it's a 4-10 digit number that isn't counting up/down (e.g 123 or 321) or repeating the same digits 3 times (e.g. 111) it should be accepted. I'd suggest to choose something memorable and more secure than this but 1122 and 1212 are accepted by the system when I've tested just now.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been with Three for years, but suddenyl when i dial 123 for voicemail it says my mailbox is not set up, and then when i go through the steps and choose a PIN number it wont accept any of them, despite them being between 4 and 10 digits etc. Please help as i need this set up!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’m frankly unsure as to why your mailbox is as such but have you tried entering the default pin 0000 ? You can then change it to one of your choice.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello I had a same problem today.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is the first time to set up my voicemail box and I followed the steps when I called 123 but all of my PIN doesn’t accepted telling me ‘this option is not available’&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cannot understand cause I tried almost 30 options with pin and they are not just simple arrangement like 1234 or 111222&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What should I do to set up my mail box? I’m really frustrated now&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Sorry to hear this, it should only block when 3 digits are ascending, descending, or repeated in the PIN. I tested this out and it was all working okay. I have had a check at the processes, and &lt;A href="https://www.three.co.uk/support/contact-us" target="_self"&gt;customer services&lt;/A&gt; can also reset the PIN for you on their end.&lt;/P&gt;

Well I did reply to this but then 3 decided my account password was wrong too &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_with_rolling_eyes:"&gt;🙄&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3, you have DEFINITELY changed something because I’ve had the exact same issue as the posters above. Have had a 3 contract phone for the best part of 20 years and I last changed my voicemail greeting about four years ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suggest you speak to your IT people because I suspect there’s been a software upgrade, they do like to fiddle with things that aren’t broken!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did manage to enter a pin and set up an account with very random numbers and nothing sequential. But the record voicemail greeting function is also poor and it kept cutting off the start of my message even when waiting for the tone and a couple of seconds after. Very 1990s! Please sort it out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been having this issue I didn't have to set up a pin to set up a pin before i left the UK to access my voicemail. How in 2025 is it possible I can go to another create this account on the my 3 platform and still 3 can not let you access voicemail abroad with out a pin. Or to have the ability to set one up in another country or over the phone with support.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this is the very basics people buy a phone from, and this has to change. What do they think is the possible security concern if any from being able to do this it makes no scenes. And like I said I set this account up in another country, I can change my price plan buy a new phone and spend as Much money as I like with them. but to do the very basics and they S**t the bed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can recieve text message, make phone calls and use the internet all from another country and yet voicemail is one step to far.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;some one at HQ needs to change this as soon as possible as many people are having this issue and and the is no rational explination into why it cant be set up. if I had a pin i could listen to my messages so the system will work. if no one could listen to them I could understand but them picking and choosing is just a very very bad business choice that makes customers very un happy with the service.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Customer services just read their scripts saying their is nothing they can do when 3 could just implement it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I have been receiving voicemails for years and have a list of previous ones on my phone next to the networks provider message telling me that my voicemail is not setup. It won’t accept any pins even after trying several different combinations across 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 digits. What is going on?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you're having some trouble setting up your voicemail PIN, it can sometimes&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;block when 3/4 of the digits are ascending (e.g. 1234), descending (e.g. 4321), or repeated in the PIN.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please keep trying some different combinations between 4-10 digits.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you still have no success, please chat with &lt;A href="https://www.three.co.uk/support/contact-us?intid=contact_us" target="_self"&gt;Customer Services&lt;/A&gt;, who can look at resetting it for you.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
