I had to take my dog to the vet as an emergency yesterday, due to the fact I had to phone. I had to get a taxi there to book an appointment and another to my home. Before having to leave again with my dog, I was already very distressed after waking up to my dog bleeding heavily from his leg, to then find I could not contact his vet, only added to the stress. I was also working, so had to take an hour out of my day to travel in person to the vet and back again just to make an appointment. I have receipts for my travel. At the very least I expect to be reimbursed for my travel by you.

Whatever I think of your situation I’m sure you may be offered only a small fixed sum (if anything at all) which won’t cover anything near to your stated expenses. I think that in the terms and conditions it’s said that service is not guaranteed to be fault free and by using your device you agree to those terms. There’s no harm in you asking but I’d manage your expectations if I were you.
