i am really disappointed with my new Three broadband, my download speed is terrible, even having the Three hub, in the same room as my computer, i still have to use Ethernet cable for my computer and still is very slow. Three told me to move my Hub "SOUTH WEST"!! to get a better connection, but to no avail.. Now i am waiting for a Technician to offer further information..

I feel let down, and if i could i would terminate my contract

You could always check the status page for any tech issues in your area. Did you not check the expected signal strength before signing up or has this problem recently manifested itself after a period of good service?

Hi @Tomsteph1947,

Sorry to hear that the speeds have been letting you down. If the ethernet is making minimal difference compared to Wi-Fi, the problem may not be the distance between your computer and router, so much as the 4/5G signal strength to the router.

It sounds like the team are suggesting your serving mast will be to the South West, if available it's also worth trying any higher locations or windowsills in case the router gets better reception.

Thanks,
Jonathan
