I have been a 3 customer for years and had no issue but over the last week the signal as been either poor or non existent. I have 3/4 and 4g but I am unable to call out or receive calls. I have checked the service checker and it states everything is ok. Evidently is it is not...What's happened why all of a sudden I am unable to get a signal?

Hi @ZOB,

Sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with your signal and service recently. If we're not aware of any local issues, then it's worth checking to make sure there's not a problem with your phone and/or settings. Just to check, is this specifically calls, or is data a problem too?

If just calls are affected, this could indicate an issue with your phone being set for VoLTE 4G calls. Have a check at our advice here: <LI-MESSAGE title="How to ensure your phone is ready for the 3G switch off" uid="36142" url="https://community.three.co.uk/t5/Network/How-to-ensure-your-phone-is-ready-for-the-3G-switch-off/m-p/36142#U36142" discussion_style_icon_css="lia-mention-container-editor-message lia-img-icon-forum-thread lia-fa-icon lia-fa-forum lia-fa-thread lia-fa"></LI-MESSAGE>

Another helpful resource is our Device Support pages. Find your model of device, then go to the "fix a problem" tab, and choose the description that best fits such as "I can't make or receive calls".

If that doesn't help, can you let me know which model of phone you have?

Thanks,
Jonathan
