If it is the case that each call is limited to 2 hours, then you could use internet calling with whatsapp or Skype.

I have not read the terms of 3's contract but it may be that they have set a limit of 120 minutes for a call. If this is the case then you be stuck with it but call 333 and ask.

Hello, hotgossip21.

Welcome to the Three Community.

I can confirm there is a 2 hour call duration limit. This is standard across all accounts and isn't something that can be overridden.

It might be worth picking a less gossipy part of the call ahead of the 2 hour limit so that you can disconnect and reconnect before things heat up.

Won't be doing your brain any good either, having a radio transmitter adjacent to it for 2 hours.

What if you need to be on hold for something important, eg benefits or medical? Not all long calls are "gossip" but actually incredibly important

There's nothing more frustrating than being on hold for 2 hours only for your network to decide to drop the call

It makes me worry that there are businesses and organisations that think keeping people on the line for 2 hours is good practice.

I've been trying to get through to the government deed poll office and the queues are very long. I can wait right down the queue then it will cut off after 2 hours taking me right to the back to the queue when I call them back.

I want my money back from this awful service and have no way to speak to them to be able to do this because if 3's two hour limit on calls.

When I called this morning at exactly 9am I'm position 14 in the queue, it is now 10:20 and in 4th so hopefully I can pass my number on in case it cuts off at the 2 hour mark.

You need to sort this out 3 and give people the option to cut off at the 2 hour mark. We are paying for a service and should be able to have this option.

Hi, Em-Bem.

The call duration limit isn't a Three specific thing, the limit is applicable to all UK networks. As far as I know most of them use 2 hours (sometimes shown as 120 minutes) as well, although it might vary.
