Hi there @rjb_12,

Thanks for reaching out here, and I hope you're having a great time in France. 😊

The 3-day Go Roam Europe pass gives you access to your allowances and up to 12GB of data for the current billing period (not 12GB per day).

Buying a Go Roam pass would mean that there would be no daily roaming charges, as the passes substitute this and are in place to allow you more of a saving across a set amount of days.

For example, daily roaming charges in France are £2, but a 3-day Go Roam in Europe pass costs £5. So, for this you make a £1 saving through the pass, compared to if you paid the individual daily roam charge instead across 3 days.

Any pass that you purchase should activate when you connect to a local network upon arrival at the destination, but please make sure you have roaming turned on in your device settings.

Please feel free to check our handy online Roaming page, where you can input your destination to see what you have access to.

If you opt for the daily charges instead of a pass, please also ensure that you have a spend cap set high enough to allow this.

If your data becomes a bit stretched on your trip, you can also buy a Data Passport, which gives you unlimited data for 24 hours.

I hope this info is helpful, but please pop back here at any time if you have further questions.

Thanks,
Michael

What does the 3-day roaming pass mean?

I’ve just got to France and I’m wondering wether it’s worth buying the 3-day roaming pass but not sure what it exactly is.

I know I have an allowance of 12GB of data but is this daily whilst I’m here? And how does that work with the 3-day pass? And how does the £2 charge factor in to it?

Sorry about all the questions. Just a bit confused with it.
