EDIT : Sorry, I think I misread that, you are both on Three?

Could the message have been for another postcode, ie your billing address rather than where you are using the phone? Despite all the media messaging they are being very slow rolling out MOCN, probably because most customers won't know the technical ways of seeing if a mast is MOCN enabled or not. There are threads on ISP Review forums tracking the roll-out around the country.

So, I'm on a Three business contract and I received the message that the Vodafone MOCN network is ready to use near me, However... I checked and this wasn't the case so I asked a colleague who was using a Three personal account to see if his was working and he was getting speeds of up to 500mbps on 2 bars 5G whilst I was getting around 7mbps on full bars 4G stood right next to him! I'm using the iPhone 15 pro Max he was using the Samsung s22 ultra FYI. Any ideas (apart from the usual anti apple device nonsense) Thanks

Maybe you could try switching SIMs with them? See if you're able to get the faster speeds on their device, and see what speeds they get on yours.
