&lt;P&gt;I'm sorry to hear that you've used a STAC for service termination, instead of a PAC for porting your number. I'm not clear from your post if you were moving to or from Three. I'm honestly not too sure whether the number would be completely lost, I'd recommend checking with customer services of the network who issued the STAC, if they can issue a "manual PAC". Normally when a number is cancelled by disconnection there's still a grace period where a PAC can still be given, so hopefully that's the case here too.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all. I’m an idiot and used a STAC instead of a PAC. I really want to keep my old number. It switched today. I tried customer support on the online chat, and was told there is nothing I could do.. have I lost that number?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
