Most text messages not coming through on new phone

Had new phone for about a week and did the whole PAC code number transfer however I'm not getting most text messages through. Trying to verify apps for new logins and none of the msgs are coming through except for Three's txt when I registered with their online account stuff. Not getting my wife's text messages or even her calls (from her mobile) but I do get a phone call through from my landline.

Any ideas whats going on?

I'd read somewhere that turning off chat features can help but this hasnt made a difference.

The 'about phone' section is definitely showing my old number but when I go into contacts, it has two numbers under my Google login username/handle. One says 'this phone' which shows my old number and the one I want to use, the other says 'mobile' and a completely random number (not even the number that came with the sim card). Would this have something to do with it?

Hi @camy252,

It sounds like this could be a split port, where your old number hasn't fully transferred over. I'm sorry this has happened, I appreciate it must be causing a lot of disruption. Generally this sort of issue is automatically identified and resolved within a couple of days, so hopefully it's been sorted out in the meantime.
