How to keep my number

My current phones SIM only contract on three runs out later this week. After a bit of research I found a good deal on a new phone and contract on another website but still with three as the network. They are sending a new SIM with a new number. My question is how do I keep my current number in this scenario? From what I can tell PAC codes are for when you leave a network.
