I am changing my phone and I am abroad . I want to transfer my esim to my new device while being abroad as I have no plans to return UK soon.

I have read on this community that it's possible but when I contacted the 3 customer chat they simply refused and told me that it cannot be actived while being abroad. I am currently in sweden.

Any past experiences would be really helpful. Is it the risk worth taking and while trying to activate the esim on my new device if the activation fails will my old device also lose the esim or I can use the esimin my old device becasue what I have heard that they first cancel the old esim and then activate the new esim.
