Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear you've been having these issues with your VPN. I'm not sure if it's related, but some of our community members have reported issues when using IPv6 with VPNs, so it may be worth changing your APN settings to IPv4. There's some more info on <LI-MESSAGE title="FYI : IPv6 Prevented VPN Connection" uid="14851" url="https://community.three.co.uk/t5/Broadband/FYI-IPv6-Prevented-VPN-Connection/m-p/14851#U14851" discussion_style_icon_css="lia-mention-container-editor-message lia-img-icon-forum-thread lia-fa-icon lia-fa-forum lia-fa-thread lia-fa"></LI-MESSAGE>

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi everyone,

This issue is present on both broadband and mobiles while hotspotting.
I use Draytek Smart client to a draytek router to dial into work.

For some reason however while using SSL VPN's the upload speed is completely unusable. The fastest I saw was 0.05Mbps which makes it impossible to do anything.

However if I switch to PPTP everything works fine. Although this is workaround PPTP is a depreciated protocal and is no longer considered secure so I would prefer to not use it.

Worth also mentioning that other internet providers do not have this issue.
Tested with EE for mobile connectivity and Gamma for wired.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
