Unable to change number on iPhone after number ported

My number was ported across yesterday but my iPhone is still registering the original sim no. I can’t manually change it or use iMessages/face time. When I ring out/txt it does show my ported no but my actual phone lists the original sim as my number on the device. I have looked at the community thread from previous people and tried most things and nothing has worked to change it. Any help appreciated!
