      <title>Poor coonection during landline calls</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been having issues with calling landlines. I can usually hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. This issue is only a calls to landlines problem as calling mobiles is always fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This was happening on my previous sim and phone and I expected an upgrade to resolve the issue with a new sim card and new number, unfortunately the problem still occurs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've called Three and they're unsure of the issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Try switching off wifi-calling and see if that helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you haven't already, put your postcode into the coverage checker.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, check network status in your area to see if there's any ongoing work or maintenance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Failing all of that,&amp;nbsp; have a chat with Customer Services.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If none of that helps,&amp;nbsp; raise a complaint.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've tried turning the phone on/off, I've manually selected on the sim settings Three; and the area checker is showing as no faults in the area.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only thing I haven't done is turning off wifi calling, however I've called landlines when I'm not connected to WiFi anf had similar issues.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have looked at coverage and network checker and there are no reported issues. Only thing I haven't done it turn off wifi calling. I have made calls when not connected to WiFi when I'm out and it was still the same.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It doesn't look like we've heard anything further from the Original Poster in the meantime. Probably the best place to start in figuring out this issue, is trying to narrow down if it's linked to the phone, SIM/account, or the network.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A few questions that might help with this:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Does the issue seem to be in particular locations, or everywhere?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Is the issue affecting one, some, or all landlines, do you know if all the numbers you've tested are on one provider such as BT or Virgin?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Are you able to test and confirm if the same issue happens with your SIM inserted in another phone?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Likewise, can you try a friend or family member's SIM in your phone to check if the same issue happens?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Do you know if anyone else on Three is affected in your local area?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I appreciate you might not be able to test or confirm all of these, but any info from the above should help us narrow down the next steps.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same issue as the others and don't have WiFi calling enabled, full signal 5g, and it only affects landlines.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm only calling businesses for this and given they can only hear every other word I say for the topic I'm calling to discuss, I'm not about to ask them what provider they use for their business...&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help please, as this has been going on for many months now and multiple phones, sims, etc.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Im struggling to get help from them, I've been to the shop and they have changed sim card etc, they just say must be poor signal,&amp;nbsp; paying all this money for contract and phone is unusable to make phone calls,&amp;nbsp; I'm pleased it's not just me though, so doesn't doing like it's just the hanset&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Jonathan,&amp;nbsp; thank you for replying.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appears to be quite a few people having the same issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's all landlines, I can hear them but they cannot hear me it just breaks up, cannot be my signal as it is great for calling mobiles, it's just landlines.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've had the sim card changed, I've knocked WiFi calling off, and my friend with the same handset had the exact same problem, appears to be the handset on 2 different S23 ultra,&amp;nbsp; though not sure about everyone else.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, same problem here. Three support was very unhelpful and kept insisting that I contact the manufacturer of my phone (Samsung S23) for support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is very likely a problem with Three which is related to how calls are routed from their mobile network to landlines. After it being almost impossible to speak to a landline number from my phone on Three, I borrowed another phone with a Vodafone SIM card and called the same number, and I had no problems. Also, I've called landlines from abroad using my phone while roaming on a foreign network, and I had no problems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Calls to mobile numbers are unaffected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Three needs to solve this problem on their network, although I doubt it will be solved until after the merge with Vodafone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
