Hi,

This works fine & from what I cannot find, there is no restriction.

and I am sure if there were then Three would txt you.
Note, using a BB sim is more cost effective but for occasional use this works.

I can't seem to find out if I can use my sim on a mobile router in my motor home. Ive got unlimited data but using my phone as a hotspot is not ideal.

Hi @richard10071962,

Welcome to the Three Community.

As @Clever-Trevor says, there's no restriction on doing this. Assuming the mobile router is supplied by Three or unlocked to all networks it should work. We can't promise support on a 3rd party device, but generally they automatically pick up all the relevant settings directly from the SIM without you needing to customise anything.

Hope this helps,
JonathanB

Hello.

I guess in some cases it's possible you might see a difference between one device type and another, but I think in most cases, phones are able to pick up a signal as well as a router can these days. If the area struggles with signal normally, I'm not too sure getting a router would help.

The mobile router does give you the option to use an alternative antenna external from the device, so a window mount antenna could be an option, or a completely external antenna. Either might help.
