RCS has gone live on my phone today by default. Seen plenty of posts regarding this on here so thought I’d mention!

Yes im running RC2. Just shows waiting for activation.

I have been advised that it is being rolled out from the 9th of December, so the update simply hasn't been rolled out to yourself yet.

This is being done in phases, and wasn't being done all at once, so please bear with us.

Mine is enabled but when I go in to text an Android user it says SMS instead of RCS.

Hi @navod,

That's odd, I haven't spotted any other reports of this so far. I believe RCS needs to be active on both ends, so it may be worth double checking the Android user also has the feature switched on. If so I'd try switching RCS off and back on from both devices and retesting.

Are you able to test if this is just one Android device you're having trouble contacting by RCS, can you successfully send RCS to other people?
