If he wants to do that, he will need to have an allowance on the account, which you've confirmed he has already, plus a credit on the account to cover the data charges. I initially loaded a 75gb data pack with 12gb roaming to this account however the roaming allowance didnt last long so I decided to load a data add on of 10gb which says can be used as a roaming allowance.
